Her story

Patience Tsekus is from Karshi in Abuja, and her story is one of quiet strength and determination.

Growing up, she faced barriers because of her disability, not because of her ability, but because of how others saw her. Despite this, Patience worked hard, passed her exams, and held on to a clear dream: to become a healthcare worker and care for others. Although she was not given the opportunity to pursue that path at the time, her dream did not disappear. Today, she carries a renewed desire to try again and to step back into that calling and build a future where she can serve, heal, and make a difference.

With the right support, Patience can continue her journey, rebuild her confidence, and move closer to the life she has always envisioned for herself. Her story is a reminder that delays are not the end and that purpose has a way of calling us back.

By purchasing this scarf, you are becoming part of Patience’s journey: a story of courage, second chances, and becoming who she was always meant to be.
