Her story
Hajara Yakubu is a mother of seven from Kano State. Although she wasn’t able to continue her education beyond primary school, her story is now defined by what she is building.
Today, six of her children are in school, and her greatest dream is to give them the opportunities she never had. She believes deeply in the power of education to transform their future, and she is determined to see them grow, learn, and succeed.
Hajara is also working toward growing a small business that can support her family more sustainably. With the right support, she can expand her efforts, ease the burden of school expenses, and create a more stable life for her children.
Her story is one of strength, hope, and becoming. It is also a reminder that where you start does not define where you can go.
By purchasing this scarf, you are becoming part of Hajara’s journey: a story of a mother building a better future, rewriting her path, and raising children who will carry that legacy forward.
